Read Write Think
A large number of lesson plans based around literacy with downloadable supporting worksheets and fantastic online activities. Many of them have a reading focus such as this lesson on using picture books to teach plot development.
Reading A-Z
This is a subscription site but has a number of very high quality resources so it might just be worth it. It costs $80 US a year for up to nine classrooms so could be really cheap if you put in with other teachers. There are books you can print out or read online with accompanying lesson plans and worksheets as well as a heap of other great reading resources.
Cliff's Literature Notes
More appropriate to secondary school, these notes break down the main elements in a number of different well known texts.

Classical Comics
A range of classic book titles that have been turned into graphic novels - perfect for reluctant older readers. You need to pay to download many of the titles but some are offered for free.
